SEMA Show, Day Three: Hunter foot-pedal operated wheel lift

Nov. 6, 2014

Hunter Engineering Co.’s new style wheel lift, which is an optional feature on all Hunter wheel balancers, is now operated by a foot pedal, allowing the operator to lift and lower the tire hands free. The company is displaying the new lift at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show going on now in Las Vegas.

The wheel lifts feature a low-profile, scissor design to increase ease-of-use and reduce technician wear and tear, says Hunter. Built-in height compliance also enhances centering performance and increases wheel balancing speed. The wheel lifts are automatically integrated into the balancer, and drop out of the operator’s way as balancing begins.
