Equus debuts redesigned Web site

March 11, 2010

Equus Products Inc. has debuted its redesigned Web site, www.EQUUS.com, with the latest product information, video content and downloads available at the click of a mouse, the company says.

“Back when Equus Products launched more than 40 years, vehicles had fewer than a dozen computerized sensors and the Internet didn’t even exist,” says Brendan McShane, Equus’ marketing manager. “Today, cars have hundreds of computerized sensors, and more than 60% of our product offering consists of computerized onboard diagnostic tools and Web-based information. Thanks to the Internet, customers can access information 24/7. In developing this Web site, we wanted to ensure that we provided our customers with the information they need, when they need it.”

The new site includes videos of the entire family of Innova OBD-II tools showcasing key product features and uses. It also features updated product description pages for each of the Equus and Innova branded products, an OBD-II code lookup; dealer search by part and zip code; FAQs and technical knowledgebase; and access to ASE Certified Technical support.

Also included are downloadable collateral materials, such as high-resolution photos, sell-sheets, trifolds, brochures, manuals and more, which enables round-the-clock access to product information and helps the environment with reduced printing and mailing costs, the company notes.

The Web site also has a greater emphasis on the company’s RepairSolutions service. Available with all of the Innova diagnostic tools, RepairSolutions helps solve diagnostic problems from trouble code(s) to probable cause and detailed fix.

Other additions to the site include updated online product registration forms, preliminary diagnosis worksheets, up-to-date product testimonials, new Equus Performance gauge products and accessories, and a list of retailers and industry affiliations.

The company plans for more enhancements to the site in the coming months, including more product and how-to videos and links to the company’s YouTube site.
