Monroe tries to 'pad' sales with promotion

Aug. 10, 2010

Tenneco Inc. will reward distributor and jobber professionals with $50 debit cards for qualifying sales of Monroe replacement brake pads during this fall's “Put on the Pads” trade promotion. The campaign is running concurrently with the “Put on the Pads” $20 mail-in rebate program for consumers.

To qualify, salespeople must submit a completed scorecard documenting the sale of 50 sets of Monroe Ceramics and/or Monroe Dynamics brake pads during the program period

According to Tenneco, Monroe Dynamics and Monroe Ceramics brake pads are designed with advanced, original equipment-style friction formulations (for stopping power) and slots and chamfers matching the OE pad design (for noise reduction).
