Right to Repair: the pros versus the cons

Aug. 14, 2010

Perhaps the hottest topic in the tire industry today revolves around Right to Repair legislation.

On both the state ("Right to Repair boosters will keep fighting") and national ("ARA supports Right to Repair Act") levels, the issue is somewhat polarizing. For example, Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich is for legislation, while the Automobile Service Association is against it.

Interestingly, both Ulrich and the ASA believe in the "right to repair" concept.

Confused? You won't be after reading Ulrich's latest B.O.B. blog, "Right to Repair: legislation: blog, blog, blog or blah, blah, blah?"

And let us know what you think about the issue by leaving a comment!
