Tire Group International LLC (TGI) and Tireco Inc. have entered into a distribution arrangement that will allow TGI to exclusively distribute Geotrac, Geostar and Milestar branded tires throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
TGI will offer the aforementioned brands on a direct factory basis and also will offer a fill-in program from its warehouse in Miami, Fla.
Victor Li, vice president of Tireco, says TGI is the right partner with which to grow the company's brand portfolio throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
"We see the value in the market expertise and their ability to properly service the market thru their Miami warehouse facility as well as with direct factory shipments."
(Tireco also is the sole distributor of Nankang-made products throughout North America.)
Orlando Delgado, TGI's senior vice president of sales and marketing, says the brands are synonymous with quality and durability at a competitive price point.
"We feel these brands are a perfect complement to our existing product portfolio and will further solidify our position as a market leader in the distribution of quality tires in the region.
