Peoria, Ariz.-based S&S Tire Co. (AZ) knows specialty tires. The three-outlet dealership is the largest supplier of golf course tires in Arizona. And it's now branching out into online sales.
The company is selling products via its four-month-old Web site, www.specialtytiresusa.com. The site is moving a lot of product, says S&S Tire President Bob Slagle. "March was the site's best month ever," he reports.
Slagle discusses his vision for the site in the April issue of Modern Tire Dealer magazine, available now.
"We're constantly tweaking it," he says.
