Titan International Inc. is developing 49- and 51-inch OTR tires, two products that it currently does not offer, Titan Chairman and CEO Morry Taylor recently told www.moderntiredealer.com.
The tires will be built at Titan's OTR tire manufacturing facility in Bryan, Ohio, which is currently in the middle of a three-week shutdown, along with Titan's Des Moines, Iowa, and Freeport, Ill., plants, said Taylor.
The factories, which are expected to resume production before the end of July, have been shut down for maintenance and "inventory adjustment."
