Feb. 12, 2013

Tenneco Inc. is offering two training programs at the 2013 VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo show March 7-10 in Overland Park, Kan.

The Monroe Ride & Drive program gives shop owners, service and parts professionals an opportunity to compare the steering, stopping and stability characteristics of vehicles with worn OE ride control components and new Monroe ride control replacement components.

The Monroe training program is available over three days: Thursday, March 7, from 3 to 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Pre-registration is recommended but not required. Click here to register.

The Walker Emissions Control Diagnostics Workshop covers diagnoses related to PO420 codes and other emissions control problems.

Following the workshop, attendees will be able to follow a diagnosis strategy for converter codes and emissions failures; isolate causes of converter failure to avoid comebacks; test engine fueling, breathing and other variables that affect converter operation and much more.

The three-hour Walker workshop is scheduled for Saturday, March 9, at 8:45 a.m. Pre-registration is required at www.visionkc.com.
