Distribution Stox Makes an Acquisition

July 22, 2019

The consolidation of tire distributors continues. The latest move is in Canada, where Distribution Stox has acquired Distribution CPP.

Distribution CPP (Centre du Pneu Patry) is based in Drummondville, Quebec, and primarily distributes passenger tires in Drummondville and Victoriaville, cities northeast of Montreal. Bruno Leclair, CEO and president of Distribution Stox, says Distribution CPP customers began receiving deliveries from the new company on July 11, 2019.

"The activities will be integrated within Distribution Stox and we will continue to offer an excellent service to new and current customers," Leclair said.

Distribution Stox was created in 2016 by the merger of four tire distributors — Unimax Tire Ltd., Distribution Pneus RT, Distribution DSP and Distribu-Pneus. The company combined more than 150 years of experience in the industry. Distribution Stox has 18 distribution centers across Canada with 800,000 square feet of space, 120 delivery vehicles and more than 850,000 tires in stock.
