In our March issue, we mistakenly listed Linglong Tire Co. Ltd. as the company of record for the Antares brand of winter tires. The tires, which are not produced by Linglong, are distributed by Horizon Tire Inc. in the United States.
Horizon has branch offices in Beijing and Qingdao, China, to facilitate manufacturing and to source products from multiple Pacific Rim-based tire manufacturers. Linglong is one of them.
In addition to the Antares line, Horizon offers Linglong, Crosswind (manufactured by Linglong), Sotera, Supermax and Triangle consumer and commercial tires. Modern Tire Dealer apologizes for the error.
