Federal Corp. has been named title sponsor of the Russian Hot Hatch Club Championship (RHHCC).
Originating from Moscow, Russia, the RHHCC was established in 2010 as an amateur time-attack series for street class cars -- slightly modified or stock performance versions of popular "hot-hatches."
"Being the first ever tire manufacturer of Taiwan to enter such a unique national series in Russia, Federal Motorsports is proud to team up with RHHCC in 2011 as a official tire sponsor, supplying brand new semi-slick FZ-201," says the company.
RHHCC is a well-organized racing series for people united by a craving for speed, adrenalin and small and fast cars.
Federal’s sponsorship of the series extends its support for Russian motorsports, which it hopes "will generate tremendous excitement for our potential customers and new fans, and ultimately (will help us) capitalize on market share and growing interest in the relatively new frontier in the future."
Henry Lin, director of global sales, explains the company's goal
"We plan to increase our efforts in motorsports marketing programs and engage passionate driving talents at the 11-race series of RHHCC. This will be an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our strengths in the tire. Our participation will also help us leverage the power of global branding for Federal Motorsports.”
The FZ-201 tire has been designed and developed to combine technology with entertainment, contributing ultimate performance from the start to the finish of the RHHCC race with plenty of thrilling overtaking maneuvers.
The series will begin on Saturday, April 16, at ADM Myachkovo racetrack near the capital city of Moscow.
