In a joint statement issued by Continental Tire the Americas LLC and Marangoni Tread N.A. Inc., Continental AG and Marangoni S.p.A. have ended their current agreement as it relates to the use of the ContiTread mark in the Americas.
The statement said that Marangoni will no longer produce ContiTread products for sale in the Americas. This will allow both companies to pursue their own goals for continued growth in the region.
The statement also said that for the most part, this move does not affect the business cooperation between Continental and Marangoni in other parts of the world.
