The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is accepting nominations for its 2014-2015 TIA board of directors.
TIA board directors serve for three-year terms and may be re-elected to serve two additional, three-year terms. Any TIA member in good standing or an official representative of an industry association may recommend candidates to the nominating committee in accordance with the TIA bylaws. Self-nominations also are welcome.
Positions on the TIA board are open to all TIA members who have been a member in good standing for two consecutive years, including manufacturers, independent tire dealers, wholesale distributors, suppliers, recyclers and retreaders.
“Serving on the TIA board is rewarding and a great way to give back to the tire industry,” says TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield. “We invite you to nominate qualified leaders who are willing to be considered for election to the TIA board,”
All nominations should be submitted by completing and returning the TIA board of directors nomination form to the TIA office. Nominations must be received no later than 5 p.m. (EDT) on May 1, 2014, to be considered.
