The Tire Industry Association (TIA) reports that more than 400 people have signed up for pre-Global Tire Expo special events, a registration record. The events will be held on Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.
The special events include the TIA Cocktail Hour, the Tire Industry Honors Awards Ceremony and the TIA Welcome Reception. To date, event registration is up over 30% from 2013 with over 400 planning to attend the both the Cocktail Hour and Tire Industry Honors.
“The numbers show that the industry is truly excited about TIA’s events and the Global Tire Expo, says TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield.
“Having over 400 people at the Tire Industry Honors is a tribute to this year’s honorees. They all have made significant impacts in the industry and friends, family and TIA members all want to be there to congratulate them. We expect the numbers to continue to increase as registrations are still coming in daily.”
