API raises prices up to 8% on seven brands

American Pacific Industries Inc. (API) will raise prices up to 8% on its Achilles, Advance, Armour, Farmking, Gladiator, Hartland and Pegasus brands.

The price increases will go into effect Feb. 1, 2010. API has exclusive distribution rights to the seven brands in the United States.

"Raw material costs continue to escalate at a rate faster than the marketplace will bear, and, unfortunately, a portion must be passed along to our customers," says API COO Barry Littrell.
