Titan International Inc. has added a new size 27.00R49 mining haul truck tire to its OTR tire line-up.
The Titan TDE4 contains a deep lug tread pattern for extra traction, plus other features, according to Titan officials. The tire is designed for coal mining and quarry applications.
"The mining industry has been ramping up and we are starting to see greater demand for tires in this size," says Paul Hawkins, Titan vice president of OTR sales. "The DTE4 will help meet this need while providing a deeper tread option."
