TGI Opens D/C in Orlando

Tire Group International LLC has opened a distribution center in Orlando, Fla., that will enhance service to customers across central Florida and the southeastern United States.

The strategically located facility, which spans 90,000 square feet, "builds on TGI’s long-standing commitment to high-touch service and operational excellence," according to TGI officials.

"Since opening its Tampa distribution center four years ago, TGI has been servicing Orlando-area customers with twice-daily deliveries. The Orlando facility enables TGI to further strengthen that service model while scaling to meet rising demand."

The new distribution center will carry expanded inventory across all TGI brands, including Cosmo, which continues to grow its market share. "Increased on-hand availability will support faster fulfillment, greater product selection and improved supply reliability for
customers."

"This facility allows us to take a service model that’s already proven and elevate it even further,” said TGI President Joaquin Gonzalez. “By being closer to our customers and increasing inventory across our brands, we’re reinforcing what TGI stands for: unparalleled service, strong relationships and consistent support for our dealers’ growth.”

In addition to Tampa and Orlando, Miami, Fla.-based TGI also has a distribution center in Portland, Ore. The company says it will continue "to invest in infrastructure that supports both customer success and long-term growth."
