U.S. AutoForce to Acquire Community Wholesale Tire's Distribution Assets

Community Wholesale Tire will sell its wholesale distribution assets to U.S. AutoForce LLC in a transaction that is expected to close in April.

Community Wholesale Tire will sell its wholesale distribution assets to U.S. AutoForce LLC in a transaction that is expected to close in April.
 
According to a recent WARN Notice submitted to the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development, Community Wholesale Tire plans to close two facilities in Hazleton, Mo., eliminating 143 positions.
 
In addition to Hazlewood, Community Wholesale Tire's website says the company has distribution centers in Kansas City, Mo.; Springfield, Mo.; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Peoria, Ill.
 
Community Wholesale Tire, which was founded more than 90 years ago, bills itself as "one of the Midwest's largest family-owned and operated tire distributors."
 
Its service area covers Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Nebraska, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
 
Financial terms of the  U.S. AutoForce/Community Wholesale Tire transaction have not been disclosed.
