Bob Gardner, former president of Del-Nat Tire Co., recently died at the age of 82.

Born in San Francisco, Calif., to Ben and Crystal Gardner, Bob "formed countless friendships" while at Del-Nat, according to his obituary.

"He was deeply respected by colleagues and friends alike and the relationships he built through his work remained an important part of his life long after his career.

"Throughout his life, Bob was known as a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, loyal friend and someone whose humor made every room a little brighter. He had a gift for making people laugh, a genuine demeanor that drew people to him and a personality that made him someone you never forgot.

Preceded by his parents; his wife, Sandy; and his daughter, Rachele Gardner, he is survived by his son, Robert Gardner; daughter-in-law, Kacey Gardner; grandchildren, Ava, Jack, and Cole Gardner; and his sister, Penny Gardner.
