Activities included awards in 18 categories, a lowrider hopping competition, tire raffles, music, food vendors and children’s face painting. Cosmo Tires also introduced its Kool Kat Tire Roll game, awarding more than $500 in Kat Kash to winners.
Participating retailers included Superior Tire, Liberty Tire and Oregon Tire. Other participants included Dunlop/Falken Tire, Kumho Tire, Kenda Tire, Vogue Tyre, Yokohama Tire, Maxxis Tire and Atturo Tire, plus local wheel companies Wheel World and UniAuto.
“This year’s turnout was twice that of last year, and we look forward to continued growth throughout Oregon and Washington,” says Sherko Rasouli, vice president of Pacific Northwest sales for Cosmo Tires.
Rasouli says the company has supported dozens of local car shows and hosted more than 30 Pop-Up Ambush events this year.
The Portland gathering is part of Cosmo Tires’ broader Ambush event series connecting automotive enthusiasts, dealers and communities through cars, music and art.
