New Hunter Tire Changers Designed For Tight Spaces, Mobile

April 26, 2022

The new TC33 series tire changers from Hunter Engineering Co. have been designed for tire dealerships that have limited space or offer mobile tire service.

The machine's "tank has been relocated to create a much smaller footprint, fitting any truck or van platform, while allowing easy loading and unloading. Compact roller bead breaking saves valuable floor space by eliminating the need for a side shovel.

"Additionally, all units in the TC33 series emphasis wheel protection by clamping to the hub instead of the rim edge. Plastic protectors on the side shovel and a polymer mount head take wheel protection even further."

Hunters says a wheel life and press systems are available as options. "Both press systems can be installed simultaneously for maximum capacity."

"If you don't have a lot of space but still need to get a lot of tire changing done, the TC33 is exactly what you're looking for," says Jim Hudson, Hunter product manager. "And while it's compact, it still allows for a high degree of customization to handle even the toughest of tires."
