Zhongce Rubber Group Co. Ltd. (ZC Rubber) has launched its new EV PRO tire, the company's first electric vehicle (EV) passenger car offering.
The line is available in the Chinese market.
According to ZC Rubber officials, the new EV PRO providse reduced rolling noise, increased fuel efficiency and improved grip performance for EVs. The tire also features ZR Rubber's Zuper Silent technology, which reduces tire noise by using all-season noise-absorbing compounds, three-dimensional silent bolts and a soundproof chamber.
Officials say the tire was also made with the company's BPOT technology, which gives the tire a 5% larger contact area at high speeds, while its mixing technology provides grip and stability. The tire also has a velvet sidewall design.
“EV PRO represents a breakthrough for ZC Rubber, a crucial step towards delivering solutions suitable for electric vehicles,” says ZC Rubber officials.
“This also shows our commitment to sustainable mobility in the future through extending tire life, improving fuel economy and utilizing eco-friendly materials.”
Even though the EV PRO tires are only for China so far, ZC Rubber says the company will introduce more EV tire options soon for the global market.
