Tire Discounters Expands in Atlanta Area

March 21, 2023

Tire Discounters Inc. has expanded its footprint in the greater Atlanta area by opening three new locations in Conyers, Woodstock and Loganville, Ga.

The new stores expand Tire Discounters' presence in the Atlanta area to 14 locations, increasing the Cincinnati, Ohio-based dealership’s existing network to 194 outlets.

Last month, Tire Discounters acquired and rebranded University Tire in Loganville, Ga., which now offers all of the Tire Discounters' services, including free alignment with the purchase and installation of a set of four tires.

Additionally, two new Tire Discounters stores are now open in Conyers. At both of these locations, Chip’s Auto Glass is available for automotive glass repair and ADAS services.

Tire Discounters acquired Butler Tires and Wheels, a four-location tire dealership in the Atlanta area, last year. The company also has acquired several other dealerships throughout Georgia over the last two years, including Bulldog Tire, North Georgia Tire and Porterfield Tire.

An auto glass repair company, Lightning Auto Glass, located in Chamblee, Ga., was also added to Tire Discounters' network last year. These stores joined other locations across Georgia.

“The greater Atlanta area is a strategic market for us as we continue to expand our business,” says Jamie Ward, president and CEO of Tire Discounters.

“We are excited to expand our Tire Discounters family to this great city and to provide the outstanding service here that our customers have come to know and trust.”
