Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc. (SRNA) will increase prices on Falken brand passenger, light truck and medium truck tires up to 7%, effective May 1.
The increase applies to tires sold in the United States and Canada.
"Inline adjustments will be implemented on a per-size basis," say SRNA officials.
"Minimum advertised pricing program will be updated to reflect changes."
SRNA officials say several factors "have driven the need for this price increase, including increased costs in both transportation and labor (and) raw materials, in addition to other market factors."
