The company's April 26 webinar will train tire dealers on how to navigate the complexities of wage and hour compliance. "Wage and hour laws continue to multiply, with new regulations, court decisions and myriad changes to existing laws impacting employer compliance obligations."
On May 17, SESCO will discuss core HR systems that every business needs - including "the good, the bad and the ugly of personnel file maintenance;" how to on-board new employees; the role that employee handbooks play; and more.
SESCO's May 24 webinar will explore the practical applications of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family Medical Leave Act. "We will discuss and demonstrate how to reduce liability by avoiding common compliance mistakes."
On June 7, SESCO will discuss the role of management in recognizing and preventing harassment and discrimination.
On June 21, SESCO will look at how business owners should conduct internal investigations. "This webinar is designed to provide you and your organization with a fundamental understanding of what's required to conduct an effective and professional investigation while minimizing risk (financial, legal, damage to internal and external reputation, etc.)"
Presenters will include Bill Ford, SESCO's president and CEO; Joe Cullum, SESCO's senior vice president; and Jamie Hasty, SESCO's vice president.
Webinars will take place every other Wednesday, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST.
