Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has named Ryan Waldron president of its North America consumer tire business.
Waldron most recently served as vice president of Goodyear's global off-highway tire business unit.
In his new role, he replaces Mike Dwyer, who has left the Akron, Ohio-based company.
Goodyear officials say Waldron "has been a key architect in the development of many of Goodyear’s go-to-market strategies."
As the leader of Goodyear’s global off-highway business, "Waldron led the (company's) aviation, OTR and chemical teams through the extraordinary challenges of the pandemic while driving sustained earnings growth."
