Monro Inc. is partnering with Paramount Pictures and Hasbro's upcoming movie, "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts."
The movie, the latest in the popular Transformers franchise, will be released only in theatres on June 9.
Monro’s family of retail brands - with more than 1,300 stores nationwide - will participate in the promotion. (The brands include Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers, Tire Choice Auto Service Centers, Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers, Ken Towery’s Tire & AutoCare, Tire Warehouse Tires for Less, Tire Barn and Car-X Tire & Auto.)
“At Monro, we know that generations of fans and families have connected with, and love, the Transformers universe,” says Ben Montano, Monro’s senior director of marketing and merchandising.
“We are thrilled to partner with this blockbuster film and look forward to welcoming fans to the Transformers experience in our 1,300 stores.”
"The 'Transformers: Rise of the Beasts' partnership represents one of the most exciting and anticipated collaborations in Monro’s six-decade history," note Monro officials.
"From May 22 through June 24, guests visiting Monro’s participating stores will have the opportunity to scan on Snapchat to transform their car, collect an official 'Transformers: Rise of the Beasts' movie poster, and take pictures next to movie character displays.
"Inspired by the celebrated characters in the film, Monro also plans to offer movie-themed service packages, such as 'Power is Primal Oil Change' and 'Roll Out Wheels Deal,' powered by Yokohama."
