Telle Tire & Auto Centers has opened its 20th store - a location in Webster Groves, Mo., that also will serve as the dealership's new corporate office.
The company says it had been operating out of its original office footprint that dates back to the 1940s.
“We made it work for us, but we were truly busting at the seams and when this opportunity came along, it was the perfect solution for us to add another location and build out our corporate office space,” says Aaron Telle, the dealership's president and CEO.
The 4,000-square-foot office is "an open concept that incorporates working spaces and multiple sitting areas to encourage collaboration and team building," according to Telle Tire officials.
"In addition to day-to-day admin, Telle will utilize this space to welcome associates outside of the store environment into a relaxed setting to establish new connections, share best practices and enhance collaboration."
The Webster Groves shop contains 10 service bays and has been completely renovated, including the installation of a new air conditioning system "to mitigate exposure to the humid summers in the Midwest."
“The Webster community has welcomed us with open arms and we are excited to be a part of this great long-standing community,” notes Alex Telle, general manager of the new Webster Groves outlet.
Telle Tire is a 100% family-owned business that operates locations throughout the state of Missouri, including St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield and Jefferson City.
The company also owns and operates Jerrys Tire Sales in Edwardsville, Ill., which it acquired in January 2022.
"We understand that we are in the people business and building relationships," says Aaron. "We just happen to sell tires and auto service. I have a large responsibility to ensure the opportunity my father gave me continues and I don’t take that responsibility lightly."
Telle Tire is the 54th largest independent tire dealership in the U.S., according to the recently published 2023 MTD 100.
