Auburn, Maine-based VIP Tires & Service has donated $2,320 to Waterbury (Conn.) Public Schools as part of the dealership’s “Oil Changes for Education” program.
From July 10 through Aug. 21, “Oil Changes for Education” offered $10 oil changes, with 100% of proceeds going to Waterbury Public Schools.
VIP Tires & Service also ran a service deal during the same period, offering $50 off any service totaling $100 or more.
“The Oil Changes for Education program is just one small way for us to give back to the communities that support VIP stores throughout New England,” says Tim Winkeler, the dealership’s president and CEO.
VIP Tires & Service is one of the largest tire dealerships in the U.S. with more than 70 stores, according to the 2024 MTD 100.
