Stepan Boyajian and his brother, Harry Boyajian, have opened their sixth Tire Pros store in California.
The store, which is based in Long Beach, Calif., is an acquisition. It features seven bays and will operate under the Royal Tire Pros & Auto Repair banner.
Stepan says the store’s existing team will stay on and work with him and his brother.
“Until 2017, Royal Tire Pros was the iconic All-Star Tire and Wheel, what I would call a ‘locally world-famous’ family business,” says Stepan.
“Since then, it has changed hands a couple of times, but with the market consolidating more and more, we found it to be a great opportunity. Our goal is to re-establish its historic role in the North Long Beach market as a tire and wheel and auto repair destination for the local community.”
He notes that rebranding the location as a Tire Pros franchise will help make the above challenges “less daunting.”
Stepan says that the newly acquired store is located at the end of Long Beach in the second largest city in Los Angeles County, which is a big reason why the brothers decided to pursue it.
“It is strategically located near some of the most used highways and interstates in Los Angeles County, which explains the highly dense demographics both in terms of industrial and residential neighborhoods.”
Stepan and Harry own other Tire Pros locations in the California towns of Montebello, Burbank, San Dimas and Simi Valley, plus another location in Bullhead City, Ariz.
