Tire Group International (TGI) LLC has announced that its new Cosmo Kurrent is officially available.
The Kurrent was designed with Quiet Kat Technology, advanced compounding and “an ultra-modern sidewall aesthetic,” according to TGI officials. It also features a patented treadwear indicator on the center rib, allowing drivers to monitor tread life easily.
“The Kurrent is not just a tire—it’s a statement,” says Joaquin Gonzalez, president of TGI, Cosmo Tires.
“Over two years in development, we’ve created a game-changing, ultra-premium tire that sets a new standard. It looks incredible, performs even better and will set the bar for others to follow.”
According to TGI officials, other features of the Kurrent include Directed Super Silica, a proprietary compound delivering long life and enhanced wet and dry traction. Plus, it has an extra load rating and is covered under a Road Hazard warranty, a 70,000-mile limited warranty (or 40,000 miles when used on electric vehicles).
The Kurrent will launch in 22 sizes in its first phase, with an additional 22 sizes to follow.
