Sun Auto Acquires Burlington Automotive

May 8, 2025

Sun Auto Tire & Service Inc. has announced the acquisition of Burlington Automotive, a 14-bay shop in northern Washington State.

This acquisition increases Sun Auto’s footprint in the Pacific Northwest to 24 locations.

According to Sun Auto officials, the new location is situated between Seattle, Wash., and Vancouver, B.C. It is Sun Auto’s northernmost location to date.

Burlington Automotive was opened in 2010 and focused on “excellence in automotive repair by factory-trained and ASE Master technicians,” according to Burlington Automotive officials.

“I’ve always believed that culture is everything—it’s about caring for people, doing right by the customer and building a place where teammates feel respected and want to stay,” says John Beebe, owner of Burlington Automotive.

“I’m proud of what we built at Burlington Automotive, and I’m confident that with Sun Auto, that same commitment to customers and teammates will continue to thrive.”

“We’re thrilled to welcome Burlington Automotive to the Sun Auto family,” says Chris Wyborny, regional vice president at Sun Auto.

“John and his team have built an outstanding reputation in the community, grounded in integrity, exceptional service and a strong people-first culture. We’re excited to build on that foundation and support their continued success as part of our growing network.”

In April of this year, Sun Auto acquired two Larry Harer Goodyear stores in Ohio and at the end of March, acquired Piedmont Radiator and Tire in North Carolina.

Sun Auto Tire & Service ranked No. 5 on MTD’s 2024 MTD 100 list.
