Continental Marks 10 Years of Total Confidence
Continental Tire the Americas LLC is celebrating its 10th anniversary of the Total Confidence Plan, a comprehensive program designed to give drivers confidence beyond the point of purchase.
Introduced in 2015, the program underscores Continental’s belief in product quality while recognizing that unexpected situations can occur on the road. It’s designed to keep customers supported, according to Continental officials.
“We believe in the quality of our products, but we know unexpected things can happen on the road,” says Virag Kovacs-Whisnant, dealer support and promotions manager at Continental Tire.
“That’s why we want to be with you every step of the way.”
The Total Confidence Plan brings together coverage elements, including a limited warranty, flat tire roadside assistance, a customer satisfaction trial, a mileage warranty where applicable, road hazard coverage and emergency trip interruption coverage that helps reimburse eligible expenses in the event a covered mechanical breakdown disrupts travel.
According to Continental officials, this plan provides support from day one: if a flat occurs or a trip is interrupted by a qualifying event, Continental is ready to help get them back on the road quickly, while minimizing unexpected costs.
For dealers, the Total Confidence Plan adds meaningful value at the point of sale and beyond, continues Continental officials. It differentiates Continental’s offering from commodity comparisons, equips sales teams with a clear and compelling benefits story, and supports post‑purchase satisfaction that can translate into repeat business and referrals.
