Autel Adds New Tablets to Ultra S2 Line
Autel U.S. has announced the addition of the MS919 S2 and the MS909 S2 diagnostic tablets to its Ultra S2 product line.
These newly released platforms deliver enhanced diagnostic functionality, advanced hardware and expanded vehicle coverage.
The MS919 S2 and MS909 S2 are equipped with an 11-inch anti-glare display, a 2.7G 8-core processor, 256GB of storage, and operate on Android 13. The tablets, built with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, enable high-speed, low-latency communication to support reliable updates and remote services.
Other features of the MS919 S2 and MS909 S2 include:
- OEM-level access: Integrated security gateway support for applicable late-model Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, VW/Audi, and Stellantis vehicles. (Mercedes, Nissan, and Stellantis AutoAuth accounts are required; on-tablet token purchase for VW/Audi).
- Advanced data analysis: Enhanced visualization and parameter grouping, real-time split-screen oscilloscope functionality (MS919 S2), and new EV-specific test options.
- VCMI2 communication device (included with MS919 S2 and Ultra S2): Incorporates a four-channel oscilloscope, J2534 pass-thru programmer, multimeter, waveform generator, CAN-Bus tester, and Remote Expert support. A new MaxiFlash VCI2 supporting the latest communication protocols as well as J2534 pass-thru capabilities ships with the MS909 S2.
- ADAS and remote diagnostics: Full ADAS calibration readiness (additional software and frame system purchase required for static and dynamic calibration coverage) with integrated Remote Expert capability to ensure comprehensive on-site vehicle repair and servicing.
- Hands-free operation: The “MAX” virtual assistant introduces voice-enabled commands for more efficient navigation and task management.
- Digital vehicle inspections: AI-driven image recognition for damage detection, complete vehicle analysis, integration with Autel’s tire depth analysis and TPMS tools.
“The expansion of the Ultra S2 Series with the MS919 S2 and MS909 S2 underscores Autel’s continued investment in delivering innovative diagnostic technologies to the professional aftermarket,” says Michael Flink, vice president of diagnostics at Autel.
“These new platforms are designed to help technicians address increasingly complex vehicle systems with accuracy, speed, and confidence.”
