Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has unveiled the Cooper Discoverer HT, which has been designed for drivers of popular light trucks and SUVs.

The Cooper Discoverer HT "was created to take on the tasks that enable drivers to take full advantage of their vehicle’s potential," according to Goodyear officials.

"Constructed for today's truck and SUV owners, the Cooper Discoverer HT combines everyday comfort with dependable highway performance, helping drivers stay confident, whether they're pulling a trailer, carrying a heavy load, driving across town or covering hundreds of miles in a single day.”

The Cooper Discoverer HT is now available in 15 sizes. The line will expand to 19 sizes by December 2026. More sizes will be added during the first quarter of 2027.

Among other features, the tire boasts tall, straight sidewalls and an optimized footprint that places a maximum amount of tread in contact with the road; an optimized tread footprint and sidewall design for stable handling; 3D Micro-Gauge Technology to provide enhanced traction; a long-wearing tread design for durability and a quiet ride; and more.

It also comes with a 70,000-mile limited treadwear warranty on metric sizes and a 55,000-mike limited treadwear warranty on LT-metric sizes.

The Cooper Discoverer HT is made at Goodyear's Texarkana, Ark.; Findlay, Ohio; and Tupelo, Miss., plants.
