Pricewaterhouse Coopers has named Pirelli & Cie SpA a "world sector leader" and a "Gold Class Company" in its "Sustainability Yearbook 2009" publication.

Pirelli & Cie SpA has been declared a "world sector leader" and a "Gold Class Company" in the "Sustainability Yearbook 2009" prepared by Swiss ethical rating agency Sustainable Asset Management (SAM), along with Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

SAM selects companies for admission to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
