Bridgestone to boost production in China

Bridgestone Corp. will increase radial passenger tire production at its Bridgestone (Wuxi) Tire Co. Ltd. factory in China.

Increased production, which represents a $98 million investment, is scheduled to begin during the second half of 2011 and will boost the plant's daily output by 4,200 units for a total of 12,000 units.
