Michelin North America Inc. and the United Steelworkers (USW) also have agreed to a labor contract extension as the two parties continue to hammer out a new master pact.
The company and the union have agreed to a four-week extension, which is set to expire Aug. 15, according to a Michelin spokesperson.
The USW also has hammered out a contract extension with Goodyear.
