Aug. 14, 2013

Kenda U.S.A. and the Houston Rockets have signed a multi-year extension of their corporate partnership. Kenda will remain an "official partner" of the Rockets through the end of the 2014-15 National Basketball Association season.

Under the terms of the agreement, Kenda will receive corporate sponsor status, which includes;

* the use of Rockets marketing rights,

* television-visible branded signage, and

* "hospitality and presenting sponsorship" of a game night.

“Kenda is completely aligned with our organization’s position as an international sports property, and we believe this partnership will continue to enhance both companies,” says Tad Brown, CEO of both the Rockets and Clutch City Sports & Entertainment.

“The team has a great core of young players, and we believe it is only the beginning," says Eric Yang, Kenda’s automotive marketing manager. "Similar to the culture at Kenda, the Rockets organization has built a winning product, and we wish them the best in the upcoming seasons.”

More than 325 million people watched Rockets game broadcasts worldwide during the 2012-13 NBA season across all networks. Over 30 different national and regional TV networks broadcasted Rockets home games in Asia.
