Global ESG Index Now Includes Bridgestone

Bridgestone Corp. has joined the STOXX Global ESG Leaders Index, which focuses on environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors.

"This index compiles companies that meet necessary criteria based on surveys of 1,800 major companies conducted by Sustainalytics, one of the world's largest independent ESG companies," say Bridgestone officials.

Bridgestone says it "has defined three priority areas - mobility, people and environment - to serve as a guide" as the company "employs innovation and solutions to improve the way people move, live, work and play."
