Nexen Updates Website With Texting Features

Nexen Tire America Inc. has updated its website to help simplify the tire selection process for consumers.

Among the new features available on are:

  • the ability for users to shop for tires and select a tire dealer, and then send all of that information via text to a mobile phone for easy reference at the tire store;
  • a button to print the tire selected, as well as a preferred dealer, and carry it into the store; and
  • an overhauled warranty registration page that allows customers to register purchases in two steps.

The warranty registration process allows customers to fill out the registration card with the U.S. Department of Transportation to enable safety-related and recall information. Then, customers can choose to register their tires for Nexen’s Roadside Assistance program, which gives them 36 months of roadside assistance in the United States and Canada with a free on-site tire change or tow service

“Since launching our all-new website in June, we’ve received great feedback from our customers and dealers,” says Kyle Roberts, senior director of marketing at Nexen. “Our newest update is designed to make tire shopping even easier and provide more information to customers as they research their next purchase. As we head into seasons of inclement weather, we also wanted to highlight Nexen’s valuable warranty and roadside assistance programs, so that our customers can feel safe every time they get in their vehicles.”

Tire dealers also can access the NexenACE dealer portal from the site, which provides a variety of training videos and other valuable information for Nexen dealers. Dealers also can earn points toward Nexen brand merchandise.
