More than 200 people -- including business owners, players, families and friends -- attended the California Tire Dealers Association’s (CTDA) third annual soccer tournament held recently in Los Angeles.
City Councilman Tom LaBonge presented a certificate of recognition to Pirelli Tire North America in appreciation of its participation and sponsorship of the tournament.
Bill Fuqua of Turbo Wholesale Tires Inc. in Irwindale, Calif., co-chairman of the event, said, “This is a beautiful way to start a tournament, with a local dignitary, Pirelli models and 10 enthusiastic soccer teams ready to do their utmost to win the tournament.”
The CTDA will hold its fourth tournament in 2015.
