ASA Automotive Systems shared software updates and previewed design innovations at its 17th annual software conference July 27-29 in Austin, Texas.
A provider of software systems and services to independent tire dealers, ASA is part of the Friedman Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. The companies joined forces to share the Austin venue for their respective software conferences.
ASA reports combined conference attendance of more than 350 people.
In addition to select ASA technology partners, the ASA InfoExpo conference featured keynote speaker Ross Shafer, a six-time Emmy Award-winning comedian, writer and TV host who discussed customer service, motiviation and leadership.
ASA recognized Boulevard Tire Center of Deland, Fla., as its dealer of the year award winner. The company says the annual award recognizes dealers like Boulevard who embrace technology to work smarter to maintain their competitive edge.
Cheryl Kervin and Summer Meents accepted the award on behalf of Boulevard Tire Center, which is No. 47 on the MTD 100.
