Michelin North America Inc. unveiled a revamped website for recreational vehicle (RV) tires that includes information on tire selection and maintenance for RVs, campers and motorhomes. The new site is customer-driven and mobile-friendly for easy on-the-go use, the company says.
On this updated site, RV customers can use online tools including a new RV tire selector which assists with size, tread design and application selection. The tire selector also provides information on tire basics, maintenance and safety so customers can get the most out of their tires.
“Michelin offers a long tradition of innovation, quality and durability," says Bianca Hogan, U.S. country marketing manager, Michelin Americas Truck Tires. "You can trust Michelin to provide RV tires that deliver excellent handling, wear and load control. Our goal for the new RV site is to provide a user friendly experience for our RV customers, with information and tools to assist in their decision making and maintenance practices.”
The reference section of the site contains a variety of materials, including warranty information, bulletins, load and inflation tables, RV tire maintenance tips, technical specifications and videos. The dealer and service tab can be searched by address, city, state and ZIP code. It also can be refined to select the dealers with the specific services needed. Information from the site can be printed or shared via social channels or email. Customers can also create a personal account so they can save their tire and dealer searches, as well as reference materials and videos.
Upgrades include:
Tire Selector – This section has been completely redesigned to include more information, such as tread pattern, application, warranties, benefits, sizes and other features readily visible in a quick search option.
Dealer Locator – RV customers can search via address or location, new icons identify the services dealers offer and searches can be refined based on specific service needs.
