Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. says its passenger tire plant in the Philippines has achieved "complete zero emissions," meaning that no waste from the factory will be sent directly to a landfill.
The Tokyo, Japan-based company began efforts towards achieving "zero emissions" in 2006.
