Huge Crowd Returns to Tyrexpo Asia

Following more than two years of delays and cancellations due to COVID-19 restrictions, Tyrexpo Asia 2023 opened its doors in Singapore to crowds 89% larger than the last show in 2019.

The event, held March 8-10, attracted 5,488 visitors and 202 exhibitors. Organizers say around 90% of attendees traveled to the event from outside of Singapore, and 93% of exhibitors have already booked their booth for the next Tyrexpo show.

Alwin Seow, event director, said, “Everyone in the Tarsus team is delighted at how successful the tire industry’s first ‘live’ show in Asia for four years has turned out thanks to the loyal support of all exhibitors and visitors. The halls were buzzing with enthusiasm through the three- day event and have acted as a perfect springboard for the various market sector to return to pre-Covid levels."

The show also presented a special Retreading Conference on the first day, which organizers say was well attended.

During the show, organizers confirmed four additional shows will take place during the next two years, beginning with Tyrexpo Americas 2023 which be staged in Mexico City, Dec. 5-7, 2023, with an anticipated 120 exhibitors and 3,000 visitors.

Tyrepo Asia 2024 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand May 15-17 with an expected 120 exhibitors and 3,000 visitors. Tyrexpo MEA in Abu Dhabi UAE will be held sometime in November 2024 with around 150 exhibitors and 4,500 visitors. And Tyrexpo Asia 2025 will return to Singapore in March 2025 with an anticipated 220 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors.
