Bridgestone Launches Military Fellowship Program

Bridgestone Retail Operations LLC has announced its partnership with Army Career Skills and Department of Defense (DOD) SkillBridge programs to launch a Military Fellowship Program.

The Military Fellowship Program will provide service members with hands-on automotive technician training and career opportunities as they transition into civilian life.

Bridgestone will pilot the program at two Firestone Complete Auto Care stores near Fort Worth, Ky., and provide up to 180 days of training to participating service members.

“Our business is committed to supporting those who serve our country and providing them with new pathways for success,” says Marko Ibrahim, president of Bridgestone Retail Operations.

“We are excited to partner with Army Career Skills and Department of Defense SkillBridge through this new program to make a positive and lasting impact on our military communities.”

'However, the extent and specifics of that impact cannot be determined at this time. TIA will continue to monitor the situation closely.'
