Union, N.J.-based Foreign Tire Sales Inc. has appointed Minoo Mehta, formerly of Zafco International and Tires Direct, as its new CEO.
A 40-year tire and automotive industry veteran, Mehta says he will “lead our team in navigating the dynamic landscape of the tire industry, with focus on our Otani brand.”
Foreign Tire Sales, which is owned by Richard Kuskin, is the exclusive distributor of Otani brand tires in the United States.
“We have a complete line, from passenger and TBR to OTR and farm,” says Mehta. “We ship tires directly to customers’ warehouses,” while offering “white glove service.
“We’re adding a lot of sizes and Otani is coming out with electric vehicle tires this year. They’re coming out with S/T sizes. We put tires in production to benefit every customer we have,” says Mehta, who adds that Otani tire are tested in the U.S.
Foreign Tire Sales will soon open an office in St. Petersburg, Fla.
