Smithers’ Traction Summit Adds Speaker

Smithers’ Traction Summit, which will take place Aug. 12-13, continues to expand its lineup of speakers.

Hope Pegues, performance engineer at Michelin North America Inc., has been added to the program. She will discuss two aspects of tire performance – tire wear life and abrasion resistance – and the methods used to evaluate them.

Held in San Antonio, Texas, Smithers’ Traction Summit also will feature presentations from representatives from Pirelli, Sumitomo Rubber Industries, the Tire Industry Association, Toyota Motor Corp., Consumer Reports and more.
