AACF Brings Back Classic Car Sweepstakes

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) will give away a restored 1969 Pontiac Firebird and $5,000 as part of its Classic Car Sweepstakes.

"After the incredible success of last year’s inaugural sweepstakes where one fortunate entrant drove away in a 1965 Mustang Convertible, AACF is back with another timeless piece of American muscle," say AACF officials.

"And because great cars deserve great support, we’ve partnered with Tire Rack and Yokohama Tire, who are providing a custom wheel and tire package to be installed on the vehicle, along with four tire and wheel storage totes for the original wheels and tires. To make this prize even sweeter, AACF is including $5,000 in cash to help cover taxes and title fees - or for those who prefer cash only, the winner may choose a $25,000 cash prize instead."

All proceeds from the sweepstakes benefit the AACF, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing emergency financial assistance to individuals and families in the aftermarket industry facing emergencies like illness, injury or natural disaster.

"This sweepstakes has quickly become one of our most exciting fundraising traditions,” says John Kairys, executive director of AACF. “Last year’s winner drove away in a beautiful Mustang and this year’s Firebird continues that legacy of classic cars, generous partners and an even greater opportunity to help aftermarket families in crisis.”

AACF officials extend their "heartfelt appreciation to its generous partners and sponsors who make this sweepstakes possible, including Advance Auto Parts, Hunter Engineering, Lucas Oil and Yokohama Tire. A special thank-you also goes to PJ’s Auto World, who helped secure and store this incredible vehicle."

The winner will be drawn on June 2, 2026.
